New Head Varsity coach Kelly Sopak is pleased to announce the selection of Tricia Reyes as the new Miramonte Matador JV Head Coach. In addition, Mrs. Reyes will also serve as one of the Varsity Assistant Coaches. Mrs Reyes will be assisted by Varsity Assistant Raul Reyes.

Mats complete perfect 26-0 regular season
The 2011-2012 Miramonte Basketball team completed their first ever undefeated regular season by defeating Campolindo 65-38 last night. With the win the Mats finish the regular season at 26-0 and claim the DFAL Championship.
The post season starts next week. The brackets will be released Sunday afternoon.
Mats Take home Truckee Invitational Championship
The 2010-2011 varsity season is just underway but it is clear that this years team has a whole new look and swagger about their play. The Runnin Mats are off and running... and pressing their way to victories early in the season.
After a the home opener blowout against College Park the Mats took Home the 2010 Truckee Invitational Championship this weekend. Miramonte over powered the host Wolverines on Saturday to secure the Championship 78-30.
Senior Alyssa Johanson was named as the Tournament Most Valuable Player and Junior Janine Loutzenhiser was selected to the All Tournament Team.
With the Championship the Mats improved to 4 and 0 on the season and look forward to their 3 games this week.
2009-2010 season highlights
The 2009-2010 Miramonte Matadors will always be rembered as the "Cardiac Kids" for the flair for the dramatics and the late game comebacks. And, even the late game near comebacks.
As the Mats start the 2010-2011 season with expectaions to finish better than the 2009-10 here is a look back at some of those great highlights:
